Hello, everyone! I haven't actually left the country yet - in fact, there are still a few last-minute things to pack, but I am so excited to head out tomorrow afternoon! I don't travel frequently, so it never occurred to me how much thought goes into taking a big trip like this (maybe it gets easier with practice). Everything is all set now, though, so I thought I might as well figure out this blogging business before I'm off.
To document the end of the packing fiasco that I was experiencing, I am including a picture of the infamous luggage. Thanks to all who helped me out with that in various ways - so you all know, I did, in fact, decide how many shirts to bring!

My birthday is during the time that I will be away, and as departure gifts, I received two beautiful travel journals which I will be using to further document the goings-on of Spain. Here they are:
Anyway, tomorrow should be interesting. Future pictures should be a bit more exciting, as well.
